As Director of Interiors for the Office of Thierry W. Despont, Gillian Rose contributed to the interior expression of one of the world’s most storied hotels, while simultaneously redesigning a world-class palace. Her role supported a carefully considered selection of furnishings, textiles, and accessories, all in keeping with Thierry’s vision.

The interiors are articulated through nuanced layers of colour—tones of port, brandy, and classic cocktails balanced against restrained notes of olive and fern—creating richness and depth without excess.

Subtle musical references and a measured colour sensibility work in concert to sustain an atmosphere of elegance, continuity, and understated celebration within The Promenade.
