Solow Building / Upper East Side, Manhattan, NY

Overview
Flooded with natural light, this interior aviary unfolds through fifty linear feet of panoramic, floor-to-ceiling curved windows, offering views of seven iconic bridges. Sheer, iridescent copper burnout drapery gently veils the kinetic energy of Manhattan below.
An interior palette of corals, taupes, chocolates, and teals—drawn from the chromatic world of Matisse—is layered with turquoise glass, gilded bronze sculptures, silk rugs, and walls defined by muted lilacs and softly worn, cashmere-sweater stripes.
Specially selected pieces by Piero Lissoni, including a lacquered red bar cabinet, infuse the open space with energy and joy.

Tucked away from the energy of the main living spaces, a series of serene domestic zones offers quiet refuge from the world beyond. A soothing palette of periwinkles and taupes creates an atmosphere that invites contemplation and introspection.
